Tex. Loc. Gov't Code § 161.303

If the proposition is approved by a majority of the qualified voters voting at the election, the commissioners court shall declare the result and by order dissolve the ethics commission. A copy of the order dissolving the commission shall be placed in the minutes of the court's proceedings.
