SUITS; LEGAL SERVICES

Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff

(a) The board may sue and be sued in its own name.

(b) The board may request from the county attorney the legal services it requires. In addition or in the alternative, the board may employ and compensate its own legal staff.
