POLICY

Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2647, ch. 871, art

It is the public policy of the State of Texas to mitigate and control pests threatening forest land in this state in order to protect associated ecological resources, enhance the health and maintenance of forests, promote stability of forest-using industries, ensure public safety, and conserve the ecosystem values of the forest.
