Tex. Nat. Res. Code § 62.161

ORDER CALLING ELECTION TO DISSOLVE; NOTICE OF ELECTION

(a) The commissioners court may order an election to dissolve a board.

(b) The commissioners court shall give notice of the election. The notice must include:

(1) the name of the board;

(2) the proposal that the board be dissolved; and

(3) the place, date, and time of the election.

(c) The notice shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county once a week for two consecutive weeks. The first publication must occur not later than the 21st day before the date on which the election will be held.
