COST RECOVERY

Known as the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Act

The administrative law judge may award reasonable costs to the board on a request for and proof of the costs if the respondent fails to appear for the hearing under Section 1103.510, including any costs:

(1) charged by the State Office of Administrative Hearings; and

(2) related to the preparation for the hearing, including costs of discovery, depositions, subpoenas, service of process, witness expenses, travel expenses, and investigation expenses.
