The act spans §§ 151–172 (375 sections).

Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 269 (S.B. 419), Sec. 1.39, eff

(a) If an informal meeting is not scheduled for a complaint before the 180th day after the date the board's official investigation of the complaint is commenced under Section 154.057(b), the board shall provide notice to all parties to the complaint. The notice must include an explanation of the reason why the informal meeting has not been scheduled. The notice under this subsection is not required if the notice would jeopardize an investigation.

The information provided under this subsection must also list any complaint in which the investigation has extended beyond the first anniversary of the date the complaint was filed with the board.
