EFFECT OF LICENSE REINSTATEMENT ON CERTAIN PROSECUTIONS OR PENALTIES

Known as the Medical Practice Act

If a physician has had charges filed against the physician during a period in which the physician's license was not in force or was suspended, revoked, or canceled, or if penalties have been incurred by the physician during that period, the reinstatement of the physician's license does not abate the prosecution or penalties.
