TERMS; VACANCIES

Known as the Physician Assistant Licensing Act

The act spans §§ 204.001–204.353 (77 sections).

(a) Members of the physician assistant board are appointed for staggered six-year terms. The terms of four or five members, as applicable, expire on February 1 of each odd-numbered year.

(b) A member may not serve more than:

(1) two consecutive full terms; or

(2) a total of three full terms.

(c) If a vacancy occurs during a member's term, the governor shall appoint a new member to fill the unexpired term.
