PROTECTION OF PATIENT IDENTITY

Known as the Physician Assistant Licensing Act

In a disciplinary investigation or proceeding conducted under this chapter, the physician assistant board shall protect the identity of each patient whose medical records are examined and used in a public proceeding unless the patient:

(1) testifies in the public proceeding; or

(2) submits a written release in regard to the patient's records or identity.
