REPORTING IMMUNITY

Known as the Social Work Practice Act

A person who, without malice, makes a report authorized, or reasonably believed to be authorized, under this subchapter:

(1) is immune from civil liability; and

(2) may not be subjected by the person's employer to other retaliatory action as a result of making the report.
