NATURE OF DISTRICT

Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.01, eff

(a) The district is:

(1) a public entity performing an essential public function; and

(2) a body politic and corporate.

(b) The functions of the district are governmental and public.
