ELECTION TO INCREASE MAXIMUM TAX RATE

The board may call an election to increase the maximum tax rate of the district to a specified rate allowed by law on each $100 valuation of the taxable property in the district if the board determines that an increase is necessary to carry out the purposes for which the initial tax rate was authorized.
