(a) As soon as possible after the board adopts a resolution under Section 1053.152, the commissioners court shall order an election on the question of selling or leasing the facility.
(b) The election shall be held on the first authorized uniform election date prescribed by Subchapter A, Chapter 41, Election Code, that complies with Section 3.005, Election Code.
