ENTRY ON LAND

Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.01, eff

(a) A district director, engineer, or employee may go on any land inside or outside the district to survey and examine the land with reference to the location of works, improvements, and waste disposal, treatment, and other facilities, plants, pipelines, equipment, and appliances, and to attend to district business.

(b) The director, engineer, or employee must give the landowner five days' written notice before entering on the land.

(c) If any district activity on the land causes damage to the land or property, the district shall restore the land or property as nearly as possible to its original state. The district shall pay the restoration's cost.
