AUTHORITY TO ANNEX DEFINED AREA

(a) In addition to annexing land under Section 7803.102, the board may annex land to the district as a separately defined area on the petition of the owner or owners of a majority of the land contained in an area defined by metes and bounds outside the district.

(b) The petition must be filed with the board.
