The district is composed of the territory described by Section 2, Chapter 506, Acts of the 54th Legislature, Regular Session, 1955 (Article 8280-182, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as that territory may have been modified under:
(1) this subchapter or its predecessor statutes; or
(2) other law.
