Tex. Transp. Code § 311.077

EFFECTIVE DATE OF FRANCHISE

Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff

If a majority of the votes cast at the election favor the proposition:

(1) the governing body shall declare that result on canvassing the election returns; and

(2) the franchise takes effect according to its terms.
