(a) Not later than the 15th day after the date that all temporary directors have been appointed and have qualified, the temporary directors shall meet and order an election in the boundaries of the proposed district to confirm the creation of the district and elect the directors of the district.
(b) Section 41.001, Election Code, does not apply to an election under this section.
