PETITION FOR ANNEXATION

Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff

(a) Any property owner may file with the board a petition requesting that the real property be annexed to the district. The property is not required to be contiguous to the district.

(b) The petition must:

(1) describe the property by metes and bounds, or if there is a recorded plat of the property, by lot and block number; and

(2) be executed as provided by law for the conveyance of real property.
