RESULTS OF ELECTION IN CONTIGUOUS MUNICIPALITIES

After the confirmation election for a subregional authority created by a contiguous municipality, the governing body of the contiguous municipality shall adopt an order declaring, according to the results of the confirmation election, that the subregional authority is confirmed or ceases to exist. If the subregional authority ceases to exist, the governing body of the contiguous municipality shall record an order in its minutes so declaring and file a certified copy of the order with the Texas Department of Transportation. On the filing the subregional authority is dissolved.
