SELF-CERTIFICATION OF MEDICAL STATUS

Known as the Texas Commercial Driver's License Act

The department shall remove the commercial driver's license privilege from the holder of a commercial driver's license or a commercial learner's permit if the holder:

(1) fails to provide the department a self-certification of operating status; or

(2) fails to provide and maintain with the department a current medical examiner's certificate that is required based on the self-certification.
