TRANSFER OF TITLE OF IMPOUNDED MOTOR VEHICLE
Known as the Texas Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act
The act spans §§ 601–601 (104 sections).

(a) To transfer title to a motor vehicle impounded under Section 601.261, the owner must apply to the court for permission.
(b) If the court finds that the transfer is being made in good faith and is not being made to circumvent this chapter, the court shall approve the transfer.
