RATE FOR DEREGULATED SERVICE

Known as the Public Utility Regulatory Act

If the price of a service in a geographic market is deregulated under this subchapter, the incumbent local exchange company or holder of a certificate of operating authority may set the rate for the service at any level higher than the service's long run incremental cost.
