REVOCATION OR AMENDMENT OF CERTIFICATE

Known as the Public Utility Regulatory Act

(a) The commission may revoke or amend a certificate of convenience and necessity, a certificate of operating authority or a service provider certificate of operating authority after notice and hearing if the commission finds that the certificate holder has never provided or is no longer providing service in all or any part of the certificated area.

(b) The commission may require one or more public utilities to provide service in an area affected by the revocation or amendment of a certificate held by a public utility.
