PROHIBITION ON CHARGE FOR CERTAIN CALLS

Known as the Public Utility Regulatory Act

A provider may not charge a person making a call on a pay telephone for:

(1) local directory assistance; or

(2) a call made under Chapter 771 or 772, Health and Safety Code.
