Tex. Water Code § 15.007

CONSIDERATIONS FOR CERTAIN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

(a) If financial assistance is provided under Subchapter C or J of this chapter, any waste treatment facility to be financed under the application must consider cost-effective methods of treatment such as rock reed, root zone, ponding, irrigation, or other nonconventional methods that may have been developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration or the Tennessee Valley Authority.

(b) Before granting an application for financial assistance under Subchapter C or J of this chapter, the board must find that any waste treatment facility to be financed under the application will consider cost-effective innovative methods of treatment such as rock reed, root zone, ponding, irrigation, or other nonconventional methods that may have been developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration or the Tennessee Valley Authority.
