Utah Code § 41-6a-1504

Motorcycle-- Footrests for passenger -- Height of handlebars limited

Amended by Chapter 334, 2026 General Session

(1) A motorcycle carrying a passenger on a public highway, other than in a sidecar or enclosed cab, shall be equipped with footrests for the passenger.

(2) An individual may not operate a motorcycle with handlebars above shoulder height.

(3) A violation of this section is an infraction.
