Va. Code Ann. § 1-608

(For contingent effective date, see Acts 2025, cc. 91 and 109, cl. 2) Limitation on use of name of systems

The use of the terms "Virginia Coordinate System of 1927," "Virginia Coordinate System of 1983," or " Virginia Coordinate System of 2022" on any map, report of survey, or other document shall be limited to coordinates based on the Virginia coordinate systems as defined in this chapter.
