Va. Code Ann. § 28.2-706

Restrictions on crab scraping; penalty

It is unlawful for any person to:

1. Use a crab scrape having a mouth longer than four feet and a toothed bar;

2. Haul a scrape, except by hand; or

3. Have more than two scrapes overboard.

A violation of any provision of this section is a Class 3 misdemeanor.
