Vt. Stat. Ann. tit. 23, § 1705

Impersonating an inspector or examiner

A person who falsely impersonates or attempts to impersonate a motor vehicle inspector, examiner, or State Police shall be imprisoned not more than six months or fined not more than $100.00, or both.
