(1) An initial violation of RCW 70A.435.030(1) is punishable by a civil penalty not to exceed five hundred dollars. Subsequent violations of RCW 70A.435.030(1) are punishable by civil penalties not to exceed one thousand dollars for each violation.
(2) Penalties collected under this section must be deposited in the model toxics control operating account created in RCW 70A.305.180.
