RCW 82.03.060

Members not to be candidate or hold public office, engage in inconsistent occupation nor be on political committee—Restriction on leaving board.

(1) No member of the board may be a candidate for or hold any other public office or trust, and may not engage in any occupation or business interfering with or inconsistent with his or her duty as a member of the board, or serve on or under any committee of any political party ; and

(2) No member of the board may, for a period of one year after the termination of his or her membership on the board, act in a representative capacity before the board on any matter.
