The board shall evaluate the effectiveness of the expanded 5-year-old kindergarten programs under s. 119.71 in meeting the needs of disadvantaged children. Annually by January 1, the board shall submit a report summarizing its findings to the state superintendent and to the FIRST CLASS CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM 119.900227 chief clerk of each house of the legislature for distribution to the appropriate standing committees under s. 13.172 (3).
