(1) In this section, “land” has the meaning given in s. 23.0917 (1) (d).
(2) On or before November 15 of each odd-numbered year, the department of natural resources shall submit to the joint committee on finance and to the chief clerk of each house of the legislature for distribution to the appropriate standing committees under s. 13.172 (3) a report regarding the total number of acres of 823.0913 CONSERVATION land that the department plans to acquire for any of the purposes specified in s. 23.09 (2) (d).
