The department may cooperate with the federal government in carrying out federal acts concerning public assistance under this subchapter, child welfare under ch. 48, and community-based juvenile delinquency-related services under ch. 938 and in other matters of mutual concern pertaining to public welfare, child welfare, and juvenile delinquency under this subchapter and chs. 48 and 938.
