W. Va. Code § 46A-6H-4

Prohibiting transfer agreements of workers' compensation claims and other transfer agreements that contravene law

Known as the West Virginia Consumer Credit and Protection Act

The act spans §§ 46A-1-101 to 46A-8-102 (260 sections).

Any agreement to transfer future payments arising under a workers' compensation claim is prohibited as is any other agreement to transfer future payments that would contravene existing law.
