W. Va. Code § 7A-6-4

Approval of county consolidation and charter

Known as the Consolidated Local Government Act

The act spans §§ 7A-1-1 to 7A-8-1 (43 sections).

If at least fifty-five percent of the legal votes cast by the qualified voters of each of the affected counties approve consolidation, then consolidation becomes effective pursuant to the charter.
