35-10-101. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) or shall be imprisoned in the county jail not to exceed six (6) months, or shall be punishable by both such fine and imprisonment.
