Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 35-2-1108

Receiver's liability

Known as the Health Care Facility Receivership Act

The act spans §§ 35-2-1101 to 35-2-1109 (8 sections).

(a) The liability of the department shall be limited as set forth in the Wyoming Governmental Claims Act for the operation of medical facilities and the provision of health care.

(b) If a person is designated to act as a receiver pursuant to W.S. 35-2-1103(f) and is not covered by the Wyoming Governmental Claims Act, the designated receiver shall only be held liable in a personal capacity for the designated receiver's own gross negligence, intentional acts or breach of fiduciary duty.
