Sections 20 and 32 (bank/securities affiliation restrictions) repealed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (1999). FDIC provisions remain.

Separated commercial and investment banking and created the FDIC. The bank-separation provisions were largely repealed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (1999).
