Prairie Trail Authority Act

• 70 ILCS 3505/1This Act shall be known and may be cited as the Prairie Trail Authority Act
• 70 ILCS 3505/2As used in this Act, unless the context clearly requires otherwise: "Authority" means the Prairie Trail Authority created pursuant to this Act
• 70 ILCS 3505/3There is hereby created within the regional area a political subdivision to be known as the Prairie Trail Authority
• 70 ILCS 3505/4The Authority shall have the following rights and duties: (a) To coordinate and maintain a system of linked pathways and bicycle trails throughout the regional area
• 70 ILCS 3505/5Any eligible county may become a member of the Authority by majority vote of the corporate authorities of the county
• 70 ILCS 3505/6The governing body of the Authority shall be the Board of Directors
