The White-Slave Traffic Act of 1910, universally known as the Mann Act, criminalizes transporting a person in interstate or foreign commerce for prostitution or other criminal sexual activity. Amended repeatedly — most significantly in 1986 to be gender-neutral and tied to specific criminal conduct — it is codified at 18 U.S.C. §§ 2421–2424.
