The Norris-LaGuardia Act of 1932 strips federal courts of jurisdiction to issue injunctions in nonviolent labor disputes and makes “yellow-dog” contracts — promises not to join a union — unenforceable in federal court. It marked Congress’s decisive turn away from government by labor injunction and is codified at 29 U.S.C. §§ 101–115.
