Occurs in some maxims. fect; and so does the law. The law seeks perfection. Natura non facit saltum; ita neo lex. Nature makes no leap; neither does the law. Proceedings at law should be in a natural and regular order, omitting no step. Applied particularly to the course of proceeding in the old English practice upon writs of entry.
