or DES ABSENTEES. The name of a parliament held at Dublin, 10th May, 8 Hen. VIII. ABSENTEM ACCIPERE DEBEMUS EUM qui non est eo loci in quo petltur. We must ABSENTIO EJUS QUI REIPUBLICAE cause abest, nequ* el neque alii damnosa esse debet. The absence of him who Is employed in the service of the state ought not to be prejudicial to him nor to others. Dig. 50. 17. 140.
