or DES ABSENTEES. The name of a parliament held at Dublin, 10th May, 8 Hen. VIII. ABSENTEM ACCIPERE DEBEMUS EUM qui non est eo loci in quo petltur. We must ABSENTIO EJUS QUI REIPUBLICAE cause abest, nequ* el neque alii damnosa esse debet. The absence of him who Is employed in the service of the state ought not to be prejudicial to him nor to others.
