A Law Dictionary, Adapted to the Constitution and Laws of the United States
in contracts, is an exchange, between two or more persons of goods for goods. If an insurance be made upon returns from a country where trade is carried on by barter, the valuation of goods in return shall be made on the cost of those given in barter, adding all charges.
