One to whom an alienation is made. ALIENI GENERIS (Lat). Of another kind. ALIENI JURIS (Lat). Subject to the authority of another. An infant who is under the authority of his father, or guardian, and a wife under the power of her husband, are said to be alieni juris. See Sui Juris. ALIENIGENA (Lat). One of foreign birth; an alien.
