One to whom an alienation is made. ALIENI GENERIS (Lat.) Of another kind. ALIENI JURIS (Lat.) Subject to the authority of another. An infant who is under the authority of his father or guardian, and a wife under the povjer of her husband, are said to be alieni juris. See "Sui Juris." ALIENIGENA (Lat.) One of foreign birth; an alien.
