That which relates to money. A pecuniary provision does not apply to a provision in an agreement for alimony specifically dividing personal property of the parties; Davis v. Davis, 61 Me. 395. The exemption from registration of annuities without regard to pecuniary consideration was held to include the case of a grantee’s giving up his business to the grantor; 4 Term 790.
